About 200 boxers from almost 20 countries of the continent will take part in the responsible starts of the year. In the competitions to be held at the Universal sports complex, the best will be determined in 13 weight categories among boys and 12 among girls.
Domestic boxers are preparing for the upcoming competitions at the training base "Yangiabad" of the Tashkent region.
The Asian Championship will be held from January 20 to 30, the press service of the NOC reports.

The Asian Boxing Championship among boys and girls under 22 will start in Tashkent next week. According to the protocol of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, preparations for the championship are currently in full swing.
