The Forum
is organized jointly with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
It will be
attended by representatives of the United Nations, as well as other reputable
international structures, including Interpol, the European Union, the Shanghai
Cooperation Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the World
Customs Organization.
The
participation of heads of relevant departments from almost 50 countries and
about 500 international experts is expected. Such a high level of
representation confirms the growing role of Uzbekistan as a reliable and
sought-after venue for global events.
The forum
will discuss current global and regional trends in drug trafficking, youth
prevention, and the development of treatment, rehabilitation, and social
reintegration systems. Special attention will be paid to the introduction of
digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the fight against drug
threats.
In
addition, a Youth Summit will be held dedicated to promoting a healthy
lifestyle and increasing the social activity of young people.
