Active contacts continue at all levels. The fruitful outcomes of the recent political consultations in Ashgabat were widely praised.
Mutual trade and freight volumes are growing rapidly. The effective operation of the Shavat – Dashoguz trade zone is also contributing to increased bilateral trade.
Cooperation projects in energy, industry, agriculture, water management, and transportation are being successfully implemented. The importance of expanding interparliamentary, interregional, business, cultural, and humanitarian exchanges was emphasized.
Particular attention was given to coordinating and advancing the regional agenda, including preparations for the next Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, scheduled for Avaza this autumn.
