According to the rating, 7 higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan are among the 1000 best universities in the world in 12 scientific fields.
This was a significant achievement for the country's higher education system: compared to last year, the number of universities increased by 2, and the number of destinations increased by 4.

· Historical result: Tashkent State Technical University entered the top 150 for the first time in the field of oil and gas engineering, which is the best indicator for technical education in Uzbekistan.
· Position growth: The National University of Uzbekistan has significantly improved its results in physics and astronomy, rising from the 601-675 group to 401-450, and also strengthened its position in mathematics.
· Progress in the humanities: The Uzbek State University of World Languages has risen in the ranking of linguistics to the 201-250 group.
· New participants and directions: Tashkent State University of Economics entered the ranking for the first time in the areas of law, economics and business research. The National Research University "TIIIMSH" is represented for the first time in several areas at once.
