The parties stressed that the close friendly relations between the leaders of the two states and their personal support make it possible to successfully promote strategically important joint initiatives.

It was noted that the visit of the Uzbek delegation was a clear confirmation of the high level of mutual trust and the desire to bring bilateral cooperation to a new level.

During the talks, special attention was paid to Belarus' significant experience in the construction and operation of the Belarusian nuclear power plant, as well as the development of the modern satellite city of Ostrovets, which has a developed social and engineering infrastructure.

The Belarusian side, in turn, highly appreciated the dynamic socio-economic development of Uzbekistan over the past eight years under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, stressing that the results achieved create a solid foundation for the implementation of major technological projects.

The Uzbek delegation made specific proposals for practical cooperation. In particular, an initiative was announced to involve Belarusian experts as technical consultants to support the nuclear power plant project in Uzbekistan.

The possibility of their participation in expert support for the construction of social facilities and a nuclear city in the Jizzakh region was also discussed.

The Belarusian side expressed its readiness to support these proposals and confirmed its intention to actively share the accumulated experience in creating all the necessary infrastructure for the nuclear industry.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue studying the Belarusian experience directly at nuclear power facilities and urban infrastructure.

On April 7, the Uzbek delegation visited the city of Ostrovets, where they got acquainted in detail with the urban infrastructure and the site of the Belarusian NPP.

During the visit, the government delegation of Uzbekistan studied the advanced technologies of the plant, from a modern reactor plant and high-tech control systems to digital solutions in the field of safety and operation.

Special attention was paid to the capabilities of the modern training center, equipped with innovative simulators for training highly qualified personnel.

In addition, the delegation got acquainted with the experience of creating comfortable living conditions for employees of the nuclear power plant, visited key social facilities in Ostrovets and studied approaches to synchronize the construction of energy facilities with the development of urban and social infrastructure.
