During the meeting, it was emphasized that within the framework of long-term cooperation with JICA, a personnel training system is being successfully implemented, including the training of Uzbek specialists in higher educational institutions of Japan under state grants from JDS. To date, hundreds of young professionals have received master's and doctorate degrees in Japan and are making a significant contribution to the development of the country.
The parties paid special attention to the issues of further strengthening and increasing the effectiveness of cooperation, as well as the progress of the implementation of the major Advanced STEM Human Resources Development Project, aimed at training highly qualified personnel in the field of advanced engineering and technology areas.
During the discussion, the goals and objectives of the project were clarified, as well as the mechanisms for its practical implementation.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation, deepen the exchange of best practices, and launch new joint educational and scientific projects.
