Uzbekistan participates in Bishkek Transport Forum: corridors and digitalization of logistics in focus

On April 23, Bishkek hosted an international transport forum on the theme "Kyrgyzstan - a regional hub: a bridge connecting continents." The event was attended by the Ministers of Transport of the SCO member states and the TG, as well as representatives of international organizations and financial institutions.

The discussion focuses on the development of transport corridors, strengthening logistics chains, digitalization of the industry and simplification of border procedures.

The forum was attended by the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov. In his speech, he noted that Central Asia is strengthening the role of a key transit region, and Kyrgyzstan is an important strategic partner of Uzbekistan.

Special attention was paid to the implementation of digital solutions, including e-Permit and e-CMR systems, the development of multimodal transportation, the creation of "green corridors" and modern logistics centers.

Following the results of the forum, the participants confirmed their readiness to further strengthen transport connectivity and expand cooperation in the region.
