The Center is part of the system of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Preschool education, correctional and pedagogical assistance and comprehensive rehabilitation of children will be combined here. The training programs are planned to be developed taking into account the individual needs of each child.

Parents will also be able to receive expert recommendations to help children consolidate their acquired skills at home.

The preschool department has a capacity of 150 places and includes 10 specialized groups for children aged 2 to 7 years.

The outpatient department will be able to receive about 100 children aged 2 to 18 years per month for rehabilitation courses.

The center provides classes in physical therapy, speech and fine motor skills development, sensory integration, as well as physiotherapy and other procedures.

The children will be assisted by doctors of seven specialties, speech pathologists, speech therapists, psychologists, rehabilitation specialists and other staff.

The Samarkand Center has become a new institution of the IMKON network, which also includes centers in Nukus, Kibray, Karshi and Zarafshan.

In 2025, more than 546,000 procedures and classes were performed in the network's institutions, and 3,777 children underwent outpatient rehabilitation.

Work on the expansion of the network continues. Construction of a similar center has already begun in Ferghana, and two more institutions are planned to be built in Namangan and Nurafshan in the Tashkent region.

The opening of new centers is aimed at increasing children's access to specialized care, rehabilitation and preschool education, taking into account their individual needs.
