It was established that a resident of the Chinaz district of the Tashkent region, born in 2003, rented an apartment in one of the apartment buildings and organized clandestine production there.
During the operational event, 3.5 kg of the potent substance "Pregabalin" with a total value of about 4.5 billion soums, as well as 20 liters of liquid and 25 kg of powdered precursors, equipment and materials used for their manufacture and packaging were seized from the premises.
In addition, another resident of the Chinazsky district, who served as a chemist in this drug laboratory, was detained.
As it turned out, the detainees were initially engaged in the distribution of potent medicines as so-called "kladmen" through drug stores operating in the Telegram messenger. Later, having gained the trust of the organizers of the criminal group, they were involved in the direct production of prohibited substances.
A criminal case has been opened on this fact by the Investigative Department of the State Security Service for the Tashkent region, and a preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen against the suspects. Investigative actions are currently underway.
