According
to the resolution, the main targets for the popularization and development of
tennis until 2030 are defined:
an increase
in the number of people who are constantly engaged in tennis, up to 3,000
people;
bringing
the number of tennis coaches to 200;
joining the
top 5 Asian tennis countries;
taking
measures to include tennis among promising sports.
Starting
from October 1, 2026, the following tennis competitions will be organized in
the Republic of Uzbekistan on a traditional basis:
international
tennis competitions held under the auspices of the Association of Tennis
Professionals (ATP), the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and the International
Tennis Federation (ITF);
Uzbekistan
Youth and Adult Cup;
The
Championship of the Republic among youth, boys and adults;
"Uzbekistan
Open" international tournament among adults;
The
international "ATP Challenger" men's competition.
