A working group, consisting of representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Moscow, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and the National Agency for Social Protection, carried out extensive work to identify and repatriate minor citizens from various Russian cities who were in difficult conditions.
Specifically, the working group identified and brought back 16 children who were unsupervised or in difficult social circumstances in the cities of Saint Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, and Moscow.
Furthermore, the return of another 19 children left without parental care from the cities of Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, Ufa, Nidjny Novgorod, Khakassia, Moscow Region, Makhachkala, and Novosibirsk was helped.
The efforts to determine the children’s personal data, formalize necessary documents, conduct medical examinations, and resolve organizational issues were carried out in cooperation with the relevant agencies of the Russian Federation.
