The individual exploited his official position to extort $15,000 from an individual entrepreneur. He claimed to have facilitated the leasing of non-residential basement spaces in two buildings located in the Shaykhontohur district. The suspect was apprehended with physical evidence while attempting to flee the scene in his personal vehicle after receiving the money. Currently, the Tashkent City Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal case under Article 168, Part 3, Clause "v" (Fraud) of the Criminal Code. A precautionary measure of "detention in custody" has been applied.
Assistant Prosecutor apprehended in Tashkent

An official, who previously served as the Assistant Prosecutor of the Shaykhontohur district until September 2025 and currently holds the position of Assistant Prosecutor of the Uchtepa district, was detained.
