According to the results of
the rapid competition, Uzbekistan’s Afruza Khamdamova scored 8.5 points to
become the World Champion in the girls' under-18 category.
Furthermore, Islombek Khusanov
secured a bronze medal in the boys' under-12 category, while Khusnorakhon
Khusnitdinova took 2nd place in the World Championship for solving chess
problems (blitz puzzles). It is reported that the winners of the blitz category
will be determined today, April 20.
