During the meeting, information was provided on the activities of the assembly, which, using the mechanism of "people's diplomacy", is engaged in maintaining a peaceful and prosperous life of representatives of different nationalities living in Kyrgyzstan, developing friendly relations and cultural and educational ties with foreign countries, establishing close ties with compatriots abroad. It was emphasized that the 30th anniversary of the Assembly will be celebrated in April this year, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

The parties discussed issues of enhancing cooperation with Uzbek national centers, organizing various events with their participation.

Following the meeting, it was decided to work out the signing of a memorandum between the Osh regional branch of the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan and the Vatandosh Public Foundation, the El-yurt Umidi Foundation and the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendship with Foreign Countries under the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan.
