The event, organized jointly with the Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan, was attended by more than 80 business representatives of the two countries, the Dunyo news agency reports.
The Azerbaijani partners were presented with an exhibition of Uzbek products, including textiles, cosmetics, agriculture, medicine and pharmaceuticals, and household goods,
The official opening of the meeting was attended by Vice-President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan Vugar Zeynalov, founder and head of the Uzbekistan trading house in Baku Ramin Sharifov and Deputy Chairman of the Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Valikhanov.
As a result of the event, export agreements were signed with Uzbek companies. The parties also agreed to supply products to the Uzbekistan trading house operating in Baku, and Azerbaijani companies planned to pay a business visit to Uzbekistan in August-September to familiarize themselves with local production facilities.
