At the plant of JSC "UzAuto Motors" in the city of Asaka, the next stage of preparation for the launch into mass production of a new generation car "Chevrolet Tracker-2" has begun.

The current stage of the "Tracker" test release is called "Non-Salable", that is, "Not intended for sale".

The practical production of cars that are not intended for sale allows you to work out all the necessary production processes and test them in real assembly conditions.

As part of this stage of preparation for the launch of the Tracker car, 16 cars will be produced, which will then be subjected to the most difficult road and climate tests during testing.

"All stages of preparation for production and testing are carried out according to the plan, no serious shortcomings have been identified," said Tolibjon Samsakov, project manager.

As previously reported, UzAuto Motors JSC plans to start production of Chevrolet Tracker-2 in the summer of this year.

The car is equipped with LED daytime running lights, a color dashboard screen, an 8-inch Chevrolet MyLink touchscreen display, an audio system with six speakers, a multifunctional steering wheel, air conditioning, keyless entry and engine start, a panoramic sunroof, electric adjustment and heated rear-view mirrors, front and rear power windows.

The Chevrolet Tracker-2 set of safety systems includes front-facing airbags, front-row side airbags and curtain-type airbags, a rear-view camera, tire pressure monitoring system, stability control system (ESP), anti-lock system (ABS), uphill start assistance system (HSA), rear parking sensors, as well as fasteners for Isofix child seats.
