According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, no Uzbek citizens have been reported among the victims of the ongoing protests in Iran so far.
It is reported that the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran is in constant contact with local competent authorities and is closely monitoring the security situation in the country.
In this regard, the MFA has asked Uzbek citizens present in Iran to refrain from participating in rallies and protests, to stay away from crowded places, and to strictly observe personal security measures.
