The conference began with a video message from the Chairman of the Senate T. Narbayeva to the girl leaders. In the address, special attention is paid to the work carried out in our country to ensure gender equality, increase the role of women in all processes of government and society.

The speakers at the event also noted that reforms are being implemented in our country to support women, their ideas and initiatives, stressed the importance of ensuring their active participation in political processes, the role and importance of women leaders in these processes.

It was noted that in order to ensure and support the rights and interests of women, 2 laws, more than 40 by-laws, the Strategy for Achieving Gender Equality in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030, the Concept of Strengthening the Institution of the Family in the Republic of Uzbekistan were adopted.

The participants of the event also stressed that at the new stage of Uzbekistan's development, special attention is paid to increasing public activity, empowering women based on concrete examples.

The girls participating in the event asked questions and made suggestions. In particular, it is proposed to open the Faculty of "Gender Economics", which will help improve the economy to a new level by ensuring gender equality in society.

At the same time, there was also an opening ceremony of the hall of the "Club of Girl Leaders", modernly equipped and created at the university on the initiative of the Chairman of the Senate in order to realize the creative, intellectual and leadership abilities of gifted female students and train future personnel, the information service of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
