Abdulaziz Kamilov receives the Ambassador of Finland

    On August 3, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland (with residence in Helsinki) Marja Elina Liivala in connection with the completion of her diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

    On September 1, 2021, she will assume the duties of Director-General of the Department for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

    Welcoming the guest, the Minister highly appreciated the Ambassador's contribution to the expansion of mutually beneficial relations.

    The parties exchanged views on promising areas for further development of Uzbekistan – Finland cooperation, the schedule of the upcoming events at various levels, as well as certain issues of interaction between the parties within the framework of international organizations.

    The Ambassador, in turn, thanked the Uzbek side for creating favorable conditions for the successful fulfillment of her mission in Uzbekistan.
