    The Greco-Roman wrestlers of Uzbekistan took the second place at the Asian Championship!

    The Greco-Roman wrestling competitions in the framework of the Asian Championship have ended in Amman. Following the results of the second day of competition, our athletes Alisher Ganiyev (-60 kg) and Abdulla Aliyev (-72 kg) won two more silver medals.

    Thus, the national team of Uzbekistan finished the tournament with 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals, taking second place in the overall standings.

    Our representatives in women's wrestling are coming to the mat today.

    -50 kg: Aktenga Keunimjayeva - Myung Won (North Korea) / Gozel Kurbanova (Turkmenistan)

    -55 kg: Dilshoda Matnazarova - Layal Sukar (Jordan)

    -59 kg: Sarbinaz Jeinbayeva - Pel Hong (North Korea)

    -68 kg: Nabira Esenbayeva - Gulnura Tashtanbekova (Kyrgyzstan)
