During the conversation, regional security issues were discussed, in particular the current situation around Afghanistan.

T. Klinner highly appreciated Uzbekistan's efforts to develop a consolidated regional position on Afghanistan, establish long-term peace and stability in the country, as well as provide humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
