According to the information service of the Center for Islamic Civilization, meetings are planned during the trip with well-known London collectors and experts in the field of cultural heritage, including such influential dealers as Sarukhani, Khalili, Bilal Sudchi and Davudshah.
The main purpose of the visit is to strengthen international cooperation in the field of the return of unique historical artifacts related to the history of Uzbekistan.
One of the key events will be the holding of a special exhibition in London, which will feature more than 80 rare exhibits acquired through the international auction houses Sotheby's and Christie's. All artifacts have been peer-reviewed and have a five-year guarantee of authenticity.
Representatives of the delegation have already visited the UK in April this year, where they selected about 60 lots related to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
The development of such international cooperation contributes to the preservation and popularization of the country's rich history, and also confirms the efforts made by Uzbekistan within the framework of the state policy for the protection of cultural heritage.
