The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Ministry, the pharmaceutical cluster and the Directorate for its Development, the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry at MIPT and Asakabank JSC.

During the meeting, the progress of work on the construction of investment facilities by domestic and foreign investors on the territory of the cluster and the industrial zone was studied. The reports of responsible managers on the work done, in particular, to accelerate the construction of a Research center and an academic building of a Pharmaceutical Technical University on the territory of the cluster, were heard. Responsible persons were warned about personal responsibility for the quality and timely execution of assigned tasks.

Instructions were given to carry out daily monitoring of the compliance of the progress of the project with the approved schedules, to use the necessary resources in a timely manner for the accelerated commissioning of facilities, the press service of the MIPT reports.

For reference: Tashkent Pharma Park is the first pharmaceutical cluster in Uzbekistan. A number of projects are planned to be implemented on its territory, including the construction of research, administrative and production facilities on the territory of 130.0 hectares, more than 90 of which are an industrial zone for the production of pharmaceutical products.
