Death toll from floods in Kenya reaches 71

The number of flood victims in Kenya has risen to 71, according to the country's National Police Service. "Nairobi is the hardest-hit area, where 36 people have lost their lives," the report stated.

Additionally, floods caused by heavy rains have forced approximately 2,600 families to flee their homes and led to extensive infrastructure destruction. "Search and rescue operations are ongoing across the entire country," the police added.
