The key topic of the conversation was the discussion of current projects implemented with the participation of the EBRD and a number of new initiatives in areas within the Bank's area of interest and meeting the goals of the Uzbekistan 2030 strategy. The parties stressed their mutual willingness to work together and deepen cooperation.

Representatives of the Bank were introduced to a new initiative - working in the regions directly with large entrepreneurs who are ready to scale their business, including to the markets of developed countries. Andi Aranitasi highly appreciated the importance of direct meetings with entrepreneurs as a tool for identifying local investment opportunities and forming sustainable business ties and expressed keen interest in the participation of representatives of the Bank in the planned visits.

The constructive conversation allowed discussing organizational aspects of the upcoming meeting of the Council of Foreign Investors under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Laziz Kudratov noted the key role of the FIC platform in developing an open dialogue between government agencies and international financial institutions. There was interest in the active participation of the EBRD in the meeting and in making practical proposals to further improve the country's investment climate.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue fruitful cooperation and strengthen strategic partnership in all areas.
