Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Sports Development Abdulla Aslonov and Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov met Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, three-time Olympic champion, ten-time winner of the world championships in figure skating Irina Rodnina at the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.
The main events of the forum will take place today. Reports will be presented on such areas as further strengthening of friendly ties in various fields, bringing the development of cooperation to a new level, as well as a number of meetings with the participation of officials.
It is worth noting that during the forums, they have become a central platform for dialogue of prominent figures of the scientific and creative elite, representatives of interstate bodies of the CIS, specialized agencies of the Commonwealth countries.
