President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the state specialized secondary school of vocational training in Tashkent’s Mirzo Ulugbek district.

The educational institution, built in 1976, is designed for 1,178 schoolchildren. But the current number of schoolchildren is much larger than the capacity of the school. Moreover, its building and equipment are outdated.

The Head of the state inspected classrooms, a sports hall and a dining room. Instructions were given on the construction of a new building for the school, vocational training of schoolchildren, organization of practical classes at enterprises.

“Now modern enterprises are opening everywhere. Investment projects are being implemented. We need personnel with great potential. That is why we pay special attention to teachers and schools, improving the quality of education. Good personnel form competition. And where there is competition, there is development”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

Here, the President also talked with media representatives.

The priority importance of the work being carried out on the development of healthcare and school education, the essence and content of the activities of hokims' assistants were considered. It was noted that over time they would turn into personnel who, from their own experience, know the problems and thus form a solid personnel reserve.
