"Question: How many citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan have already been returned to their homeland from the countries of the region and on what basis is their evacuation carried out?

Answer: From March 1 to 10:00 a.m. on March 5, 9,361 of our compatriots were evacuated to Uzbekistan.

8,114 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan returned to their homeland from Saudi Arabia on regular and additional charter flights.

To date, 1,192 citizens have been returned to Uzbekistan from the United Arab Emirates.

23 citizens were returned from Iran, 25 from Bahrain, and 7 from Oman.

Measures for the return of our compatriots to their homeland are being implemented on a systematic and step-by-step basis.

At the same time, evacuation is currently carried out mainly from countries whose airspace remains open to civil aviation.

As the airspace opens in other countries of the region, these events will be organized and continued promptly.

We urge our citizens to remain calm, not to panic and to act carefully.

We ask you to strictly observe the internal rules and requirements of the host country, as well as to be guided exclusively by official information disseminated by government agencies and diplomatic missions of the Republic of Uzbekistan."
