    In 2019-2022, 10 competitions were announced to finance startup projects. In the process of competitions, each startup project is selected in six stages.

    At a briefing in AIMK, the head of the information service of the Ministry of Innovative Development, Nazokat Abdukunduzova, presented information on the analysis of the work on the formation and development of the startup ecosystem.

    To date, about 2000 applications have been received for the competitions. In 2019-2022, a total of 155 startup projects worth 104.0 billion soums were financed. As a result of financing startup projects, 1,279 new jobs have been created.

    In the first half of 2022, 16 startup projects were financed for a total of 12.9 billion soums.

    By the end of 2023, it is planned to create youth technology parks in all regions of the republic.

    At the initiative of the Ministry, in order to financially support startup projects, the activities of three investment companies, six venture funds and one management company have been established.
