The incident occurred on April 13 in the mountains of the Akhangaran district. A family of six, including the 4-year-old child, had gone on a trip for recreation. It was reported that around 5:00 PM, the family members climbed towards a mountain peak to see the snow. During the process, the adults inadvertently left the child behind and descended. The boy's disappearance was only noticed approximately 40 minutes later.
The relatives immediately notified the dispatch center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Search operations involved search-and-rescue teams from the Tashkent Regional Emergency Department and personnel from the "Kamchik" Special Rescue Department.
The search-and-rescue operation lasted more than 6.5 hours. Ultimately, at 12:20 AM on April 14, the boy was found alive by rescuers from the Almalyk special search-and-rescue squad.
According to the rescuers, the child was located approximately 3 kilometers away from where his parents had left him. At the time he was found, the boy was standing knee-deep in snow. The child has been reunited with his family and is reported to be in good condition.
