The goal is to study Korea's best practices in the field of lawmaking, direct coverage of the parliament's activities, ensuring openness, improving the IT infrastructure in the parliament, strengthening cooperation with local Kengashes and other areas.
During the visit, in addition to participating in seminars of representatives of the Oliy Majlis, they are scheduled to participate in a number of other events. In particular, meetings will be held with members of the Korean Parliament, representatives of the Office of Budget and the Office of Legislative Research of the National Assembly of Korea, as well as with the KOICA external cooperation group.
In addition, representatives of the Parliament of Uzbekistan will get acquainted with the activities of the Hwasong City Council and meet with the mayor of this city.
During the meetings, issues of strengthening friendly ties and establishing an exchange of experience between the representative bodies of the two countries will be discussed.
