Uzbekistan, Turkic Council enhance multifaceted collaboration

    Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has met with Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev.

    According to Uzbekistan MIFT, the parties exchanged views on key areas of cooperation and discussed further steps to enhance interaction in priority areas.

    An agreement was reached on practical interaction to further strengthen the activities of the Turkic Council. The Uzbek side will take an active part in the development and approval of several conceptual documents, such as “Vision of the Turkic World – 2040” and “Strategy of the Turkic Council for 2020-2025”.

    The parties discussed prospects for the development of cooperation with the Turkic Council in the investment, trade and economic spheres. Interaction in transport and transit was also considered, inform UzA.
