The winners of the games will be determined in the following categories: piano, violin, fine arts, academic singing, solo folk singing, pop singing and folk dance. The festival program includes folk instruments, wind instruments and artistic crafts. The contestants will be evaluated by a competent jury consisting of over 30 artists, professors and doctors of art history from the CIS countries. According to the results of the competition days, the laureates will be awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals.

As the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan informed TASS, the republic is hosting the Delphic Games for the first time, which will continue until October 10. According to the Kyrgyz side, all participants and guests of the games, in addition to competitions, will be "acquainted with the local traditions, customs and culture of the Kyrgyz people."

The decision to hold the XVII Delphic Games of the CIS in Kyrgyzstan was adopted by the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth States on May 29, 2020. The Ministry of Culture also recalled that since 2023 was declared the Year of the Russian Language in the CIS, this factor will definitely "be reflected in the program of the event."

"In the field of creativity, games occupy a place similar to the Olympic position in sports and unite competitions in artistic, research, creative and applied disciplines. The competitions are developing as a global system of search and support for young talents, career guidance and training, education of the younger generation," the organizing committee of the games explained.
