    Russian wrestlers won three gold and one bronze medals on the first day of the Asian Championship

    The Asian Wrestling Championship has started in Jordan. It is noteworthy that on the very first day of the tournament, our compatriots won 3 gold and 1 bronze medals.

    In the Greco-Roman wrestling competitions, Aitzhan Khalmakhanov (-63 kg), Aram Vardanyan (-77 kg) and Jalgasbay Berdimuratov (-87 kg) were awarded the highest standard, and Ikhtiyor Botirov (-55 kg) won the bronze medal.

    Today, 5 more of our wrestlers will fight. They will start their participation against the following opponents:

    60 kg: Alisher Ganiev - Ali Abdunosir (Jordan) / Ziyue Qi (China)

    67 kg: Nozimjon Boykuziev - Munthir Jandu (Saudi Arabia)

    -72 kg: Abdullo Aliyev - Begmurat Nabatov (Turkmenistan) / Ahmed Brahman (Saudi Arabia)

    82 kg: Muammadkadir Rasulov - Mohammad Nagusi (Iran)

    97 kg: Behruz Barnoyev - Ibrohim Fallatah (Saudi Arabia)
