The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, departed for Astana on July 3 to attend the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the SCO Plus format meeting.
At the events, current issues of further developing cooperation within the SCO, improving the organization’s activities, and problems of international and regional interaction will be discussed.
The President of Uzbekistan will also hold several bilateral meetings with the heads of foreign delegations.
