The parties discussed the prospects for further developing relations between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom and issues of establishing a practical partnership with the Institute for Global Change, headed by Tony Blair.
The former Prime Minister highly praised the large-scale program of irreversible reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan and expressed interest in providing expert and advisory support in their implementation.
The development of transport corridors, access to new markets, the introduction of international payment systems, and the increase in the effectiveness of investment policy were identified as priority areas of interaction with the Institute.
It was agreed to hold additional meetings at the level of experts from relevant agencies to determine specific areas of cooperation.
