The Head of the state laid flowers at the monument and paid tribute to the memory of the First President of Uzbekistan – a prominent statesman and politician, the great son of our people.
Islam Karimov, with his multifaceted political activity, noble human qualities, left an indelible mark on the centuries-old history of his homeland. A monument to the outstanding personality, who gained great respect and authority not only in Uzbekistan, but also in the world community, was erected in Moscow on October 18, 2018.
