The leaders of the two countries exchanged sincere congratulations on the occasion of the holy Ramadan Hayit – Eid al-Fitr, and the bright festival of Navruz. Sincere wishes for peace, well-being, and continued prosperity were expressed to the friendly peoples of Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
It was emphasized that the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Pakistan in February this year has elevated the strategic partnership to a qualitatively new level.
It was noted with satisfaction that following the high-level visit, contacts at the level of ministries, agencies, and regions have noticeably intensified, and mutual exchanges are increasingly being filled with concrete substance and results.
During the conversation, the parties expressed serious concern over the tensions recently observed in South Asia and the Middle East and stressed the need to resolve any differences and issues exclusively through peaceful, diplomatic means.
