The outgoing year has been a year of major transformations and achievements for our people, and of growing confidence in the future.

Despite the global challenges, we have achieved all the goals and milestones we set for ourselves. For the first time, the gross domestic product exceeded $145 billion, firmly establishing Uzbekistan as a middle-income country.

The impact of economic growth is clearly reflected in improved quality of life, higher household incomes, the emergence of mahallas, and greater youth confidence in the future.

In the outgoing year, there were many bright and happy moments in every family and every home.

The joy of millions of families who have celebrated housewarmings, increased their incomes, established and strengthened their businesses, and take pride in their personal achievements as well as in the success of their children in science, culture, sports, and other fields undoubtedly fills us with strength and energy to achieve our goals in the new year.

Dear fellow citizens!

In the new year, we will continue to mobilize greater opportunities to ensure a happy, prosperous, and healthy life for every family, provide young people with quality education, enable them to acquire future professions, and encourage regular participation in sports.

We have declared 2026 the Year of Mahalla Development and Social Prosperity.

In the new year, we will improve the infrastructure of thousands of mahallas and give them the appearance of a New Uzbekistan.

All sectors of the economy will be transitioned to a model of technological and innovative growth. We will continue our efforts to increase incomes and the purchasing power of the population.

We will expand support for people in need of assistance, our respected veterans, dear women, and youth.

We will continue effective measures to improve the environment, develop green energy, and ensure the rational use of water resources.

In short, in 2026, all our reforms and efforts will be directed toward creating the most favorable conditions for the population and for business.

I am confident that experienced mahalla chairpersons and activists, members of the intelligentsia, entrepreneurs, energetic youth, the broader public, and every compatriot will make a worthy contribution to this noble endeavor.

Dear compatriots!

On the eve of the New Year, every family believes in the best, and bright hopes awaken in the hearts of everyone.

May all our pure thoughts and noble aspirations come true in 2026!

May the New Year bring health, happiness, and prosperity to every family, and progress, peace, and tranquility to our country!

May the Almighty protect our Motherland and support us in our aspiration to make the lives of our people even better!

Happy New Year, my dear compatriots!

Shavkat Mirziyoyev,

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
