A modern hotel complex has been built on a three-hectare mountain slope. Currently, the site includes two hotels with a total capacity of 188 guests, compact capsule-style houses, a restaurant, and utility facilities. The next development phase consists of constructing 20 additional similar dwellings.
The President inspected the facilities provided for visitors at the hotel.
Overall, 52 projects worth $1.8 billion are planned for implementation to develop the region’s tourism sector. As a result, 3,300 new jobs will be created, and the tourist facilities will be able to serve up to 1 million visitors annually.
The snowy mountains of Parkent offer opportunities for another large-scale project – the construction of a ski resort covering 1,200 hectares with the participation of an Austrian company.
The Head of State was presented with information about the project. It includes the construction of three-, four-, and five-star hotels, ski slopes, lifts, chalets, picnic areas, restaurants, and wellness centers.
The project will be implemented in three phases and, upon completion, can accommodate up to 15,000 tourists per day. Around 600 service facilities will be created. Taking seasonal services into account, the number of new jobs will reach 10,000.
The resort is expected to become one of the largest tourist destinations in Tashkent region – on par with the well-known “Amirsoy” complex in Bostanlyk district.
At the meeting with specialists, measures were discussed to refine the project, expand the range of services offered, and accelerate construction work.
