In particular, it was established that 8 citizens living in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Andijan and Ferghana regions, born in the period from 1987 to 1998, were influenced by the ideological and psychological influence of the media blogger of the terrorist organization "Guruba Katibasi" operating in Syria, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic Abdulmukhsin Usmonov (1996 birth), transferred funds to accounts belonging to him.

The said citizen, known under the pseudonym "Saad Mukhtor," was raising funds through the Telegram messenger under the pretext of helping Muslims who suffered in Palestine. However, the money raised was used to support terrorists in Syria.

According to the verdict of the court, seven convicts were sentenced to imprisonment for terms from 3 to 8 years. Another person involved was sentenced to restriction of liberty for a period of 4 years and 4 months.

According to article 155-3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the financing of terrorism is punishable by imprisonment for up to 15 years.
