Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Ministry of ICT and the Acharya Institute (India)

    An Indian-Uzbek business forum is being held in Delhi in cooperation with the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

    This business forum is a platform for discussing and implementing potential investment projects in various fields, which serves the development of trade, industrial, transport links between the two countries, the expansion of transit corridors between Uzbekistan and India.

    In this regard, within the framework of this business forum, a memorandum of cooperation was signed on July 28 between the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Khokimiyat of Bukhara region and the Acharya Institute (India).

    Within the framework of the memorandum, it is planned to open a branch of the Acharya Institute in Uzbekistan, in the Karakul district of the Bukhara region. In the future, this higher educational institution will produce specialists in the field of information and communication technologies.

    It should be noted that the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sh. Shermatov held a meeting with the leadership of the Acharya Institute on January 19 this year, during which issues of opening a branch of this institute in Uzbekistan were discussed.

    For reference: The Acharya Institutes Network, founded in 1990, is one of the largest private educational institutions in Bangalore. It consists of 10 institutes and 15 research centers. There are more than 15 thousand students and 250 doctoral students from 75 countries in the network of Acharya institutes. The training is conducted according to more than one hundred educational programs.
