On January 14, at 23:15 in the Samarkand region, on the 3872nd kilometer of the railway between Ziyavuddin and Navoi stations, an incident occurred with the Afrosiyob high-speed train flight No. 772 Tashkent — Bukhara, the press service of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari reported.
Thanks to the professional actions of the drivers, serious consequences were avoided, and passengers were not at risk.
After the stop, the train was promptly inspected by a technical team. Despite some damage, the train was deemed safe for further movement and was able to continue the route, arriving at Bukhara Railway Station at 01:27.
Specialists of the Ziyavuddin railway line, employees of the Bukhara regional hub and the transport security service immediately arrived at the scene. An investigation is underway into the causes and circumstances of the incident.
