The design of the medals is made in the form of two halves connected by Olympic rings - this element symbolizes the path of the athlete and those who accompany him along the way. The design harmoniously combines elegance, innovation and environmental principles.
The medals will be cast in induction furnaces powered exclusively by renewable energy sources. The Italian State Mint and Polygraphic Institute (IPZS) is responsible for their production.
The Olympic Games will be held from February 6 to 22, 2026, and the Paralympic Games from March 6 to March 16.
