Today, mahalla is a vivid reflection of the attention shown in the country to local governing bodies. The citizens’ assemblies and apartment buildings acquired a modern look. The territory has been landscaped, and internal roads have been repaired, children’s playgrounds and parking have been organized.
The Head of state got acquainted with the work carried out in the mahalla and talked with the chairman and representatives of the mahalla.
“We have introduced the “system of five” in the mahalla and provided it with ample opportunities. Today mahalla is a bridge between the population and the state. The fairer, more transparent, stronger this bridge, the more satisfied our people will be”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
More than 6.7 thousand people live in the mahalla. Local youth work in more than ten public service centers and over a hundred stores. Conditions for meaningful leisure for the population have been created.
The Head of state also got acquainted with the activities of the “Yangi Jangoh” management service company, which services 52 multi-storey buildings in the mahalla. Twenty-four specialists and special equipment are always ready. A billing system has been introduced. For the convenience of the population, the “Mening Uyim” (My Home) mobile application has been introduced.
Responsible persons were instructed to upgrade utility networks to ensure trust between service providers and users.
A sincere conversation took place with the residents.
“From the first day of our activity, we have been carrying out all transformations in the mahalla. Because it is the closest system to people. The landscaping carried out in your mahalla is an example of this. Such work is being carried out in Tashkent, Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Kashkadarya, and everywhere. Our people are fair judges. Today, everyone in our country feels positive changes. In continuation of this work, we will transfer to the mahalla at least 30 percent of the powers of financial, tax, and employment agencies. It will be a convenient system that will make life easier for people and improve the quality of services”, the President said.
Representatives of the older generation noted that they were glad to see changes in their mahallas, and in the country as a whole. They recited a dua.
The President also inspected the walking alley organized near the mahalla along Abdulla Qodiri Street. It was noted that this place would become another attraction for residents and foreign tourists.
