A joint investment fund has been created with Franklin Templeton, and work is underway on the transformation of strategic state-owned enterprises and the placement of their shares on global stock markets.
Agreements were reached on expert assistance in developing the potential of the Tashkent Stock Exchange, including strengthening the independence and transparency of the regulator, creating mechanisms to protect investor rights in the stock market, attracting primary international custodians, and introducing digital platforms.
Interest was noted in implementing programs to increase efficiency and bring major state-owned enterprises to IPO.
The company’s expertise will also be leveraged in the transformation of state-owned enterprises, with a focus on enhancing human capital, introducing green economy standards, and improving efficiency.
The importance of thorough joint preparation for the upcoming Investor Day in October this year in Tashkent was emphasized.
