Special benefits are being created for residents of apartment buildings to use the paid parking spaces organized on the streets. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent City Administration.
It is noted that residential permits will be introduced for the capital’s residents. Holders of such permits will be able to use parking spaces within their neighborhood during the night hours, from evening until morning, on preferential terms.
In addition, certain discounts will be provided during daytime, while even broader benefits will be offered on holidays and weekends.
Currently, integration work is underway with the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services to enable residents to obtain these permits electronically. The process is scheduled to be completed by November of this year.
After these works are finalized, the Mayor of Tashkent will adopt a corresponding resolution, which will clearly define the procedure for issuing permits, their validity period, the categories of citizens eligible, and the full list of benefits provided.
