36 citizens of Uzbekistan rescued from a stranded bus in Kazakhstan

    36 passengers were rescued from a bus stranded in Pavlodar, 13 of them were children.

    The bus, carrying foreign passengers, broke down and became stranded 20 kilometers from the village of Karaterek in the May district of Pavlodar region. Rescuers, together with police officers, evacuated 36 people from the bus, including 13 children.

    "All passengers were citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who were traveling in transit from Semey city to Chimkent. Due to rainy and cold conditions, all passengers were urgently taken to a nearby heating point and provided with hot meals," the regional Department of Emergency Situations reported.

    The bus was towed to the settlement by an evacuator. Thanks to the prompt actions of the rescuers, none of the passengers required medical assistance.
