She made these remarks during a speech at an oil refinery in Puerto La Cruz on January 26.

Rodriguez emphasized that only Venezuelan politics itself can resolve disagreements and internal conflicts. She stated that the only way to protect the country's sovereignty is to maintain national unity.
Problems with the United States will only be resolved through "Bolivarian diplomacy," Rodriguez added.
"We are not afraid because if anything should unite us as a people, it is ensuring peace and tranquility in our homeland," she noted.
