Rustam
Minnikhanov noted that a representative delegation from Tatarstan had arrived
in Uzbekistan to participate in the exhibition. According to him, the event is
considered as an important platform for strengthening cooperation with the
countries of Central Asia, primarily with Uzbekistan, said Lilia Galimova, head
of the Press Service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic
of Tatarstan.
He also
stressed the high level and positive dynamics of cooperation with Uzbek
partners, noting the expansion of the presence of oil, machine-building
enterprises, as well as medical organizations from Tatarstan in the country's
market.
In turn,
Abdulla Aripov thanked the Tatarstan delegation for their active participation
in the exhibition and separately noted the contribution of Rustam Minnikhanov
to the development of cooperation.
The Prime
Minister stressed that the participation of Tatarstan representatives,
including young entrepreneurs, contributes to the expansion of business ties
and brings mutual economic benefits. He also recalled the ongoing joint
projects in Jizzakh and Chirchik, where 28 enterprises are already operating in
the second industrial zone.
The Rais of
Tatarstan, in turn, invited the Uzbek side to take part in the International
Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World: Kazanforum", which will
traditionally be held in Kazan in May, expressing readiness to receive a
representative delegation of Uzbekistan.
Following
the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further expanding trade,
economic and investment cooperation.
